Scout is an AI wellness advisor, not a veterinarian. The information provided through the Wellness Consult — including calm plans, behavioral recommendations, and supplement suggestions — is for informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary diagnosis, treatment, or prescription.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian before making changes to your dog's health routine, especially if your dog is on medication, has a medical condition, or is experiencing severe anxiety or behavioral issues.

Use of AI

The Scout Wellness Consult is powered by AI (Anthropic's Claude). Responses are generated by an AI model, not reviewed by a human professional. While we work to ensure Scout provides helpful and accurate guidance, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or provide recommendations that are not appropriate for your specific situation. Use your judgment and consult your vet when in doubt.

Affiliate Disclosure

Pawsd earns commissions through affiliate links. When you purchase a product through a link on pawsd.ai, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Product recommendations are editorially selected based on your dog's profile, but they generate revenue for Pawsd when purchased through our links.

Your Account

Creating an account is optional. If you choose to create one, you are responsible for maintaining access to the email address associated with your account. We use passwordless magic links for sign-in — anyone with access to your email can access your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used to abuse the service, including but not limited to automated scraping, excessive API usage, or submitting harmful content.

Intellectual Property

The content, design, and branding of pawsd.ai are owned by Pawsd. The wellness plans generated for you are yours to use, save, and share. Third-party product information, images, and descriptions belong to their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

Pawsd provides this service “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of pawsd.ai, including but not limited to reliance on AI-generated recommendations. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid to Pawsd, if any.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pawsd, its officers, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of pawsd.ai, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on AI-generated recommendations for your pet's care.

Governing Law & Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or your use of pawsd.ai shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules, conducted in Sacramento County, California. You agree to arbitrate on an individual basis and waive any right to participate in a class action or class arbitration.

If arbitration is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim may be brought in state or federal court in Sacramento County, California. Both parties consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of pawsd.ai after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
